Melanie Olivier, Dt.P. M.Sc.

Titulaire d’un baccalauréat en nutrition et d'une maîtrise en nutrition sportive, Mélanie Olivier s'est lancée dans l'aventure atp nutrition en 2003. Sa carrière lui a permis d'accompagner de nombreux athlètes d'élite, amateurs et professionnels, dans leurs démarches d'atteinte de l'excellence.
Elle partage depuis sa passion avec les nutritionnistes au sein de son équipe de spécialistes et à travers le pays auprès de nombreuses équipes nationales. Cette expertise l’a amené à être la première nutritionniste au pays à faire partie de l’équipe Olympique Canadienne lors des Jeux Olympiques d’hiver de 2006. Avanture qui a continuée pour les Jeux d'été de Pékin en 2008 et qui se poursuit maintenant pour les Jeux de Vancouver 2010 !
Athlète en ski alpin pendant de nombreuses années et participante des premières écoles sport-études, elle a également été entraîneuse et organisatrice d'événements sportifs.

Pearle Nerenberg, Dt.P. M.Sc.A

Pearle Nerenberg specializes in working with elite hockey players on sports nutrition programs. She holds a Masters of Science in human nutritional sciences from McGill University, a Bachelor of Science in nutritional science from Cornell University, and a personal training certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Her background as an NCAA hockey player speaks to her success in improving the performance of her hockey playing clientele. Pearle also transfers her knowledge of performance nutrition to everyday nutrition programs to see clients successfully through endurance sport nutrition programs, weight loss programs, and allergy and intolerance discovery programs. Pearle motivates her clients with a combination of compassion, empathy and discipline. Always discovering new food products, and personally committed to sustainable eating, Pearle is the perfect match for ‘foodies’ or those looking to try new things.
“My upbringing in Quebec's beautiful Laurentians, where I first experienced home-grown garden vegetables, sparked my passion for healthy food. I love teaching, inspiring, and showing people how to balance what to eat with how you move. It is my greatest pleasure to see people realize their healthiest most performing self.”

Kate Comeau specializes in working with clients to discover and manage their food allergies and intolerances. She holds a Masters of Science in human nutritional sciences from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics from Acadia University located in her home province of Nova Scotia. Her research background in sports nutrition and pediatric endocrinology set the ground work for her practice where she ensures that her clients profit from the most up-to-date information. With a lighthearted, motivating personality, Kate also coaches clients through weight loss and diabetes management programs. She excels at working with children and adolescents and those who are young at heart.
“My love of science has taught me that there is more than one solution to every problem. My love of cooking and sport has taught me that making mistakes can be the best way to learn. Combined, these lessons inspire my work with ATP; helping clients to look at all sides of challenge, and finding what is right for them. Most of all I like “getting my hands dirty” in the kitchen, helping parents and kids to discover the joys of healthy food!”

Catherine Naulleau, PDt. M.Sc.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in sports nutrition from the University of Montreal. She is accredited by the Coaching Association of Canada and the Centre National Multisport. She rowed at an elite level for several years before making the jump to competitive road cycling. Catherine is the nutritionist for several national teams including short track speed skating, judo, synchronized swimming, paralympic cycling & rowing, and she counsels many carded Canadian athletes from the Montreal region. She specializes in endurance sports, from beginners to professionals and weight category sports, for all the challenges they bring. Catherine is known by her colleagues to be a compassionate counselor, excellent with emotional eaters, and able to show people that there are really no bad foods.
“What makes me passionate about my job is meeting unique people everyday and adapting myself to their specific needs whether they are looking for a simple program to get back or to reach the Olympic podium. It’s also the unforeseen and not knowing what is going to happen every day. I deliver my passion for nutrition in a simple message: to feel well physically and mentally without restricting yourself. Josiane Tanguay, our specialist in sports nutrition, received her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science both in sports nutrition from the University of Montreal. She is accredited by the Coaching Association of Canada and the Centre National Multisport, and works with many athletes and teams of all levels: from sports-études programs to elite caliber athletes. She offers programs for endurance sports, weight gain or weight loss including help with eating disorders, and artistic sport programs. Josiane coaches tri-athletes, cyclists, swimmers, runners, mountain bikers, hockey players, baseball players, football players, figure skaters … and she passionately coaches non-athletes to attain health goals and better lifestyle habits. Josiane’s colleagues consistently exclaim “Josiane’s personality is magnetic! Her enthusiasm and passion for nutrition are an inspiration to us all. And, her creative, concrete approach makes complicated nutrition concepts easy for anyone. ”

Stephanie Jamain, PDt.

Stephanie Jamain, our maternal specialist holds a Bachelor of Science in dietetics and nutritional sciences from McGill University and a personal training certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She works primarily with women during all stages of pregnancy, including pre-pregnancy preparation, guidance through each trimester, breastfeeding, post-pregnancy weight loss and infant nutrition. Stephanie also works with recreational athletes to improve their energy levels and to bring pleasure to their activities. Stephanie’s colleagues see her as an inspiration and a reliable coach who guides her clients to achieve amazing results.
“Being the daughter of an international culinary chef, my passion for food, health and nutrition started at a young age. My inner “foodie” and active lifestyle drive my desire to teach and motivate my clients to be their healthiest, at any stage of the lifecycle, through both nutrition and exercise.”

Anne Marie Villeneuve, PDt. M.Sc (candidate)

Anne-Marie, our artistic sport specialist, holds a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from the Université Laval as well as a certificate in physical activity from the Université du Québec, Chicoutimi. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Sports Nutrition at the the Université de Montréal. Anne-Marie was an elite gymnast for many years, as well as a coach and a judge. She has also been involved in the world of aquatics for the past 10 years as a swimmer and diver and becoming a swim coach. Over the past several years, she has worked with a diverse clientele (diabetes, children, pregnant women, senior citizens) all while developing a specialization in sport nutrition. Specifically, she has specialized in artistic sports as well as endurance sports for athletes from beginner to professionals. In addition she is a dynamic presenter, giving nutrition conferences to many different organizations.

Claudine Larivière, Dt.P.
Claudine holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition from McGill University. Her specialties include endocrinology (diabetes type 1 and 2, metabolic syndrome, obesity, hypercholesterolemia), pediatrics, and weight loss. She also has an interest in sport nutrition. Claudine is known for her determination to reach her goals, as well as her social, accessible, dynamic and funny personality. She’s very passionate about her work and get involved all the way in projects.

Nicolas Violette, PDt. M.Sc. (candidate)

Nicolas Violette specializes in sport nutrition focusing on team sports, particularly hockey. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from Laval University and is currently completing a Master of Science in sports nutrition at the University of Montreal. After graduating from Laval, Nicolas worked at Santa Cabrini hospital in many areas of clinical nutrition: diabetes, dysphagia, cardiology, malnutrition and general medicine. With a sharp and creative mind he will stop at nothing to bring his clients to achieving their objectives. Nicolas knows the reality of sports, having played many team sports such as hockey, football and soccer. He specializes in the evaluation of patterns of hydration and the development of habits to maximize athletic performance and improve quality of life.

Melanie Gagnon
Adjointe administrative, Coordonatrice de projets
Melanie completed several degrees while she pursued a professional athletic career in speed skating. She has a vast array of skills and holds a certificate in design and visual presentation and a joint degree in advertising, multimedia / office and administration. Melanie was first an athlete and client of atp nutrition. She participated in the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino in short track speed skating and began working with atp nutrition after retiring from speed skating in March 2008. Now, in addition to work, she coaches young skaters and looks forward to having a family of her own. Her colleagues benefit from her amazing personality and good work ethic.
